Saskia Van Oot is theatrically trained with B.A. degree in Theater from University of Delaware and has been a full-time performer, entertaining audiences all across the U. S. for over 30 years...including long stints at the Busch Gardens theme parks in both Williamsburg, VA and Tampa, FL.
Saskia is the "heart" of Unruly Blues and keeps them alive with her soulful and expressive vocals. She brightens any venue with her playful stage presence and her natural gift of connecting and engaging with the audience.
In addition to Unruly Blues, you can book Saskia to perform audience participation comedy shows or a strolling character for festivals, parties, schools, or corporate functions. She does personalized singing telegrams using one of her many "characters". She also teaches drama, public speaking, and voice, for groups or one-on-one coaching. When she's not performing, Saskia enjoys hanging out with family and friends, hiking with her soulmate and her two rescue dogs, kayaking, creating new shows, sewing, or curled up with a good book and one of their three cats in the sunroom.
